Thank you for your interest in volunteering to be a Story Club guest reader at Ratty Books! Kiddos are always so excited to see fresh faces and learn about new topics. 

Story Club setup begins at 10am and reading at 10:15 and generally lasts from 15-30 minutes.

You are more than welcome to borrow books from Ratty to read, bring your favorites from home or check out what you need from the library!

If you are able, reading in multiple languages is so much fun and highly encouraged (English + your language)! This can mean translating a favorite book or reading a book in your language to us and explaining the pictures in English as we go!

Generally the kids have attention spans for 1-3 picture books, depending on length.

We have a range of ages attending, but as long as there are pictures, all ages can enjoy just about anything!

This is a fun casual club for friends both local and visiting - no need (or room, really) for activities and crafts. But if you have ideas, we are always open to suggestions!
